Overview
The B140-002-DD splits two PC DVI source video signals to two remote monitors. Passive, non-powered receivers allow distances up to 50 feet (15.2 meters) at 1920 x 1200 resolution, or 100 feet (30.5 meters) at 1024 x 768 resolution, over solid conductor Cat6 cable. Active, powered receivers extend the distance to 150 feet (45.7 meters) at 1920 x 1200 and 200 feet (61 meters) at 1024 x 768 (receivers purchased separately). Additional monitors can be daisy-chained (up to three) on each channel, allowing four monitors per channel, by using the B140-110 Repeater/Extender (sold separately). N202-Series Cat6 cables are designed specifically for these types of devices...pre-terminated, solid conductor Cat6 Ethernet cables up to 200 feet. Compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA) for GSA Schedule purchases.
Features
- Transmits a DVI-D Single-Link signal from a set of Dual DVI inputs to two sets of Dual Displays
- A B140-Series remote receiver is needed at each monitor
- For longer distances: Use a B140-1A0 active receiver to extend a 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz signal up to 150-ft. (45.7 m) from the transmitter (or a 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz signal up to 200-ft. (61 m) from the transmitter)
- For shorter distances: Use a B140-1P0 passive receiver to extend a 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz signal up to 50-ft. (15.2 m) from the transmitter (or a 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz signal up to 100-ft. (30.5 m) from the transmitter)
- Use 24 AWG Solid Wire Cat5e/6 cable, such as N202-Series to achieve maximum distance and resolution
- Further expand the range and number of monitors by adding B140-110 remote repeater units
- Add up to three repeaters on each of the B140-002-DD channels, for a total of 4 displays per channel (An active receiver should be the last unit in a channel)
- A 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz signal can be extended up to 125-ft. (38.1 m) for each repeater added into a channel (or up to 175-ft. (53.3 m) for a 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz signal)
