This active converter helps you transmit digital audio and 4K video from the DisplayPort 1.2 output on your desktop computer, Chromebook, MacBook, Microsoft Surface or other compatible device to a 4K HDMI-enabled television, monitor or projector. You can continue using your existing HDMI display without the expense of a new DisplayPort monitor.

HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream iTunes and Netflix content with no complications. This cable supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
Adapter Located Inside the DisplayPort Connector for Easy Installation
With the DisplayPort-to-HDMI repeater/booster built directly into the DisplayPort connector, no bulky mid-cable adapter hinders installation through furniture or in hard-to-reach areas.
Ready to Use Right from the Package, So You Can Plug and Play Immediately
The plug-and-play cable requires no software, drivers or external power. It is compatible with both Single- and Dual-Mode (DP++) DP output and is recommended for use with graphics cards that do not output DP++ signals, such as the AMD Eyefinity. It is backward compatible with 1080p displays and pre-1.2 DisplayPort sources, allowing you to use it with older equipment.
