Most Tripp Lite 120V surge products have a Line OK LED. The purpose of this indicator light is to notify you that the building wiring is safe for use with the surge protector.
In the event that the LED is not lit, please follow these instructions in an attempt to identify the problem:
Remove any equipment still connected to the unit.
Be sure that the master switch is in the Off position.
Unplug the unit from the AC power source.
Check to make sure the circuit breaker is reset.
Plug the unit into a working 120V AC power source that provides computer-grade power and that is on a different circuit than the one on which the unit was originally used.
Toggle the master switch to the On position.
If the Line OK LED is not lit after you have followed these steps, the unit requires replacement.
