The U264-001-APL adapter provides a wireless connection to Apple CarPlay in vehicles that require a wired CarPlay connection. It is compatible with Apple iPhone 6 or later models that are on iOS 10 and above. Not only does this adapter reduce cable clutter in your vehicle, it also allows you to operate CarPlay functions such as music and podcast control, answer calls and texts via voice-to-text, navigate via Apple Maps and make voice commands through Siri. An included USB-A to USB-C adapter lets you connect to either port in a vehicle.
Easy Installation Allows for Quick Setup and Recurring Use
An ideal tool for travelers, particularly sales professionals always on the go, this adapter uses a combination of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to establish a pairing between the phone and the vehicle and switches to Wi-Fi to maintain the wireless connection.
