USB-C Extension Cable Connects Computers, Printers, Modems and Other USB-C Equipment
This USB-C to USB-C Active Extension Cable (M/F) attaches to your current USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable to extend it by 15 meters (49.2 feet). It connects your computer, tablet, notebook, MacBook Pro, Chromebook, smartphone or other compatible USB-C device to a USB-C keyboard, portable hard drive, webcam or microphone/headset. The 15-meter length allows you great flexibility in placing equipment. The U330-15M-C2C-C is recommended for classrooms, conference rooms and other areas where USB-C devices may be placed apart from each other.
Built-In Signal Booster for Peak Performance
Just connect the active cable’s male USB-C plug to your laptop or notebook computer and the female USB-C connector to a USB device cable to extend your total connection well beyond USB’s natural five-meter limit. The bus-powered signal booster ensures USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps with no signal loss. The USB-C active extension cable is backward compatible with previous USB generations, so you can use it with legacy equipment.
5V USB-C PD Charging Port Keeps Devices Functioning
The U330-15M-C2C-C works with a standard USB-C charging cable and a compatible Power Delivery (PD) charger to provide 5V to a connected device to ensure a stable connection from the host to the device.
Note: The USB-C 5V charging port is not required for all applications. In the event that external power is required, the following USB power adapter models can be purchased separately: U280-002-W12, U280-W02-A1C1.
