This professional workspace dock provides an all-in-one solution for expanding the functionality of your laptop with 4K HDMI and 8K DisplayPort video ports, Gigabit Ethernet, USB-A and USB-C hub ports, SD and Micro SD card slots and 100W PD charging. With the U442-DOCK7D-2, you can transmit 4K video to three displays at the same time when it’s connected to a PC or laptop that supports DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode and DSC (Windows) or SST (macOS).

Extends 4K Video to 3 Displays Simultaneously
One DisplayPort supports single-display 8K at 30 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz. Two HDMI ports each support single-display 4K at 60 Hz. All three video ports also support HDR, 36-bit Deep Color and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. For advanced digital signage, video presentations or workplace productivity, you can display 4K video on up to three 4K displays at the same time. Note: The U442-DOCK7D-2's video output capabilities vary depending on the capabilities of the host’s operating system, graphical capabilities, video cabling and display(s). Host device must support DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode. M1/M2 Macbooks are limited to mirroring video content across multiple displays in SST Mode.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ports Connect Keyboards, Thumb Drives and Other Peripherals
The U442-DOCK7D-2 features four USB ports for adding hard drives, mice, keyboards, printers, webcams and other USB peripherals to your laptop or PC. A USB-C port and two USB-A ports support USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps, ideal for transferring data between hard drives. The remaining USB-A port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds up to 5 Gbps. All four ports are backward compatible with older USB devices.

PD Charging Port Charges the Connected Notebook or Laptop
The USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port supports power output up to 85W, which is more than sufficient for charging and powering the connected host device, such as a MacBook Pro, Windows laptop or Chromebook. Just connect the host’s wall charger to both the USB-C PD port and an AC outlet.

Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network
The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a compatible Cat6 Ethernet cable (sold separately), and enjoy true 1 Gb Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers.

Connects Speakers, Microphone and Other Audio Equipment
The 3.5 mm mini stereo jack is convenient for connecting speakers, headphones or a microphone to your workstation. You can listen to music or record the latest episode of your podcast.

Allows External Memory Access
The memory card slots support microSD and SD/MMC cards for transferring data to and from your connected computer, laptop or tablet. You can access both slots at the same time.

Anti-Theft Lock Protects the USB-C Docking Station When You Aren’t Around
Connect a user-supplied computer/laptop security cable lock (not included) to this Kensington security slot (K-Slot) to protect your host device against theft.
